Wraparound Care

At Rosemead Preparatory School, we understand the importance of providing a nurturing and supportive environment for our children before and after school. Our early-morning care and after-school care programmes are designed to ensure that children feel safe, engaged, and well-cared for during these extended hours.

One of the distinguishing features of our before and after-school care programme is our staff. All our wraparound care staff are employed directly with us, ensuring continuity and familiarity for our children.

Wraparound Care incorporates a variety of engaging games and activities to capture a child’s interest and keep them excited about starting their day at Rosemead. From board games that encourage critical thinking to interactive group activities that promote teamwork, our children have the opportunity to explore their creativity and build their social skills.

Early-Morning Care

Early morning care is available from 07:30 at both the Pre-Preparatory and the Preparatory Departments. This service is not a Breakfast Club, although the children are offered light refreshments. The children are able to enjoy various activities and games until the start of school. The service is flexible and can be used without prior notification.

The timings and charges are set out below:

7.30am - 8.00am	£6 (£4 for siblings) NB: This half-hour session is offered as some Prep clubs start at 8:00am

After-School Care

Our after-school care for Pre-Nursery to Year 2 takes place in the hall and outdoor area with our own Pre-Prep Staff. Please use the exterior Nursery door for collection, via the hall door leading onto the Pre-Prep playground.

Year 3 to 6 after-school care is provided in the Prep building and runs from the close of school until 6:00pm each day. Children have structured activities and supervised free-play which includes an opportunity to do homework and socialise before going home.

We are using a graduated payment plan so that you are paying a different amount depending on the time that you use it for.
