We’ve turned into mini-scientists, practicing the art of patient observation as we watched the first cracks appear and the chicks finally emerge.

Beyond the biology, this experience perfectly mirrored Neurodiversity Week; the children noticed that while some chicks were the first to hatch and others took their time, each one was unique, healthy, and a vital part of the flock.
